A spacious, open-air yoga shala

The Venue

Our boutique Balinese retreat venue is exclusively ours for the week, tucked in a quiet village just 10 minutes from Ubud centre. Relax by the clear swimming pool or unwind in the authentic poolside joglo — perfect for shared meals, journaling, reading, or a quiet rest in the shade. The open-air yoga shala is fully equipped and surrounded by tropical gardens, offering a calm, dedicated space for daily practice and sound immersion. A supportive local team manages the space quietly in the background, so you can fully arrive, settle in, and focus on rest and connection.

Nourishment

Three daily meals are provided, so you don’t need to think about planning or cooking. Fresh vegetarian cuisine is prepared on-site, blending local Balinese flavours with vibrant international dishes (special dietary requirements can be catered for). Meals are seasonal, balanced, and shared in the open-air joglo — unhurried and relaxed. Daily green juice or fresh coconut water keeps you naturally hydrated in the tropical climate.

Accommodation

Rooms are traditional Balinese style, inspired by local architecture. They are cool, calm, and spacious, offering comfort and privacy even when shared. All rooms have air conditioning and all beds have mosquito nets. Bathrooms feature rainfall showers. Each room has a balcony or terrace overlooking jungle and rice paddies

Most guests stay in spacious shared rooms (2–3 people). These rooms are large — each occupying the entire floor of a traditional Balinese-style building — allowing for both connection and personal space. Private options include: One single room within the shared apartment (higher price); One double room suitable for a couple; Limited offsite private villa options next door (contact to discuss availability)

Retreat Leaders

Rachel Tyne is a yoga teacher and sound practitioner weaving movement, breath, philosophy, and live music into grounded group experiences. She also plays the handpan, crystal bowls, ocean drum, and subtle instruments, creating a calm, steady field rooted in nervous system regulation.

Nick Atherton is a multi-instrumentalist shaping the atmosphere through Native American flutes, layered guitar, handpan, and spacious soundscapes. His music is responsive and deeply attuned to the room.

Together, Rachel and Nick guide the week — from morning practice to evening sound meditation — creating a structured and open space for your experience.
