Our Purpose

Cultivating Calm, One Experience at a Time

We create sound journeys and yoga experiences to bring greater serenity and peace to our communities. Using the transformative power of sound with live guitar, crystal bowls, bamboo flutes and chimes, with mindful movement, and breath practices, we create spaces where individuals can reconnect with themselves, release stress, and experience profound relaxation. We believe that collective calm begins with personal harmony, and our sound journeys and yoga practices are designed to nurture that balance.

Join our Upcoming Workshop in Cairns

As we move through the busy final months of the year, take time to clear space for yourself with this heart-opening workshop.

We begin with pranayama — breath practices that expand the lungs, oxygenate the body, lift energy, and then gently settle the mind. From there, we move into yin yoga postures designed to release tension and create space in both body and heart.

The journey continues with live soundscapes of crystal bowls, didgeridoo, Native American flute, drum, and handpan — each note inviting you to soften, expand, and reconnect with the air element.

Every month we offer a 2 hour workshop to explore deeper aspects of yoga, breath, relaxation all to live music. Each month is a different theme and completes with a 30 minute sound journey.

Weekly yoga classes from Flow, Yin through to Beginners - there is a class style for anyone new or experienced. The Sanctuary has been set up to provide a sacred space to pause, re-set and re-energise.

What should I expect?

After some mindful movement and breathwork, you’ll lie back comfortably while the soothing sounds envelop you, guiding you into a deep state of relaxation. Most people feel calm, refreshed, and centered by the end of the session.

Why 432HZ?

Our music is tuned to the natural frequency of 432 Hz, believed to resonate with the universe's harmony. This tuning creates a deeply soothing and meditative experience, helping to align your energy and foster inner peace.”

How does it differ from Yoga?

Unlike meditation or yoga, sound journeys use vibrations and frequencies to directly influence the body and mind, allowing for deeper relaxation without active focus. It’s a more passive yet equally transformative experience.

Meet the Duo

Solsonica is the collaboration of two passionate artists dedicated to wellness and creativity. Nick Atherton, from Nick Atherton Music, is a master guitarist and sound artist who crafts intricate ambient landscapes. Rachel Tyne, from Living Harmony Yoga, is a yoga teacher and breathwork guide, leads participants into states of profound relaxation and awareness.
