A space to breathe, heal and connect.
Life can be full—work, family, caring for others. SOL Yoga Sanctuary was created to give you a space just for you.
I offer weekly classes that cater to everyone—from energising flow that builds strength and vitality, to deep Yin sessions that bring stillness and release, and beginner-friendly foundations for those starting their practice.
I also host special events like chanting nights and immersive soundbaths, blending movement, breath, and live music to help you reconnect with yourself and feel renewed. No matter your level, there’s a space here to move, breathe, and restore.

March Yoga, Meditation & Sound Journey
Some days the mind feels busy and unsettled, even when the body is still.
This immersion meets you there.
Inspired by the Four Foundations of Mindfulness, the first hour blends breath and gentle yin yoga to soften the body and bring awareness to the movement of the mind.
The second hour moves into meditation and live sound, with layered tones og guitar, percussion, flutes, crystal bowls and nature back drops, gradually settling into a more spacious, unified resonance.
Not an escape from chaos — but a way to understand it, and rest in the quiet underneath.

Energising Flow
Build strength, stamina, and vitality through dynamic sequences that awaken your body.

Slow Flow To Yin
A slow flow to energise the whole body for the first half then floor based long held poses for deep release - the perfect balance.
Expect to feel: Calm, spacious, rested, and more at ease in body and mind.
Meet Rachel
I’m Rachel, a yoga teacher, sound practitioner, and designer with a love for creating spaces where people can pause, reconnect, and feel renewed. My own journey through grief and healing showed me how powerful yoga, breath, and music can be in restoring balance and bringing peace.
At SOL Yoga Sanctuary, I offer classes that range from energising flow to gentle Yin, plus special events like chanting nights and soundbaths. I also teach free community yoga sessions through Cairns Council’s Active Living program, because I believe these practices should be accessible to everyone.
Whether you’re brand new to yoga or have practiced for years, I’d love to welcome you into class and share these practices with you.
